Remove the sound from a video and save the silent video.
When do you use this?
Useful for a recording where you would rather not share the sound, or before you add your own music.
Good to know
Under Audio Codec choose 'Drop audio track'; the video is then copied without re-encoding (the button is called 'Remux'). Tested: output without an audio track, picture kept, 46 kB. This page also covers 'make a video without sound'. Tested with a short mp4 (4 seconds, 320x240); large or long videos were not tested. In English. Works best in a recent version of Chrome or Edge.
