When do you use this?

Handy for text messages, tweets, meta descriptions or forms with a character limit.

Good to know

Tested: 49 characters, 41 without spaces, 48 without line breaks and 49 bytes (UTF-8) for a 49-character test text; all correct. Handy for a limit of 280 characters, for example.
